No doubt you are here to find out more about our Community Makeover, but first an introduction. Engage Atlanta has begun as a coming together of several churches in Paulding County. It is our desire to put God’s love on display to this community. It is our hope that as we serve the community we might improve and transform our community. More churches throughout Paulding, Cobb and Douglas are considering coming on board to be a part of future projects. It will be exciting to see what might happen the more congregations come together.

We believe that Christ has given the church the commission to be a part of His redemption plan for the world. This cannot be accomplished by merely gathering once a week. We believe that we are to be the hands and feet of Jesus to all of our neighbors regardless of race, background, or any other factor. Everyone Belongs in the kingdom of God.

To demonstrate our commitment to this community the first thing that we are doing is to come together for a Community Makeover. Quite simply, this is a Community Service weekend. Many of the churches involved are closing their doors on Sunday morning so that we have the time we need to serve. A couple hundred projects will be accomplished by 8 churches utilizing more than twenty five hundred people (and those are very conservative numbers).

For now our website is simply a blog roll of projects that you can get involved in. Anyone is welcome to volunteer whether you attend church or not. If you see a project that you are interested in click the link attached to the project in order to contact us for more information.
